How ITECH2 handles information

Information we collect

• Contact and project details you submit, such as your name, company, email, phone, service needs, location, scope, preferred site-visit time, and messages.
• Account and access information, including your email or phone identifier, authentication-provider account data, and session information.
• Client workspace records, including projects, work orders, estimates, approvals, electronic signature details, invoices, chat messages, plans, site photos, and other files you upload.
• Technician information, including contact details, service area, specialties, experience, job activity, location updates you submit, qualification documents, insurance records, and W-9 information. Tax identifiers are stored in protected form with a masked summary.
• Basic request and security data generated when you use the service, such as timestamps, request references, IP address used for estimate acceptance, file metadata, and malware-scan results.

How we use information

• To review requests, communicate about projects, schedule work, prepare estimates, manage approvals, process payments, coordinate technicians, and maintain project records.
• To authenticate users, restrict access to the correct company or technician records, detect unsafe uploads, troubleshoot the service, and keep an activity record.
• To generate draft project assistance and document extraction. Chat content or approved project content may be sent to the configured AI or document-processing provider for that purpose.

When information is shared

ITECH2 sends information to service providers only as needed to run the workflows present in the platform. These include hosting, database and authentication services; email and SMS delivery; Stripe for checkout and connected-account onboarding; AI and document-processing services; and malware scanning. Project details may also be shared with assigned personnel or technicians who need them to perform the work.

Cookies and account sessions

The site uses secure, HTTP-only cookies to maintain authenticated sessions. The application does not include advertising cookies in its current code.

Choices and requests

Public chat asks for permission before saving contact information for follow-up. You can choose not to provide optional information. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with you, email us. Some records may still be needed for active projects, payments, security, or other operational obligations.

Security and retention

ITECH2 uses access controls, protected session cookies, private file storage, upload scanning, and encryption for stored connection credentials and technician tax identifiers. No system can guarantee absolute security. Records are kept while needed for the platform and its project, payment, security, and operational workflows; the current application does not define one retention period for every record type.

Changes

We may update this notice when the service or its data flows change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
